Police are investigating after a rifle bullet struck a school bus in eastern Nebraska.
The driver was reportedly alone on the bus at about 8:25 a.m. Monday just south of Seward when it was hit.
The Seward County Sheriff says the bullet passed through the right side of the bus, struck a window frame and ended up on a seat near the center of the bus.
There haven't been other reports of vehicles being shot at in the area and investigators don't believe the bus was specifically targeted.
