UNK to Hold Korean Festival

Posted: Updated:

UNK's Korean Student Association is hosting Korean Festival Sunday, Nov. 18 from 6-8 p.m. in the Nebraska Student Union Ponderosa room.

Korean Festival is big opportunity to share foreign culture for UNK students and Kearney residents. The Korean Festival is second official event by Korean Student Association at Kearney. KSAK held a small event known as ‘Korean Night' last spring. KSAK has planned Korean Festival based on the good response from last year's event.

Guests will enjoy Korean food, performances, exhibitions and booths. Audiences will watch modern percussion performance known as NANTA, dance with K-POP music, Korean martial arts ‘Taekwondo' and the famous song and dance from Korea ‘Gangnam Style'.

The event is great for anyone interested in learning more about the Korean culture.
