The Lexington Ministerial
Association is inviting the community of Lexington and surrounding areas to gather
for a community Thanksgiving service of worship, music and prayer followed by
pie and fellowship Sunday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at Grace Lutheran
Church, 105 E. 17th Street, Lexington.
The theme for the service
will be "The Lord Has Done Great Things For Us" based on Psalm 126.
The service will be led by
area clergy and church leaders with St. Ann's Catholic Church.
A
freewill offering will be taken during the service to benefit the Lexington
Ministerial Association's Emergency Fund used to provide assistance to those in
need in the community.
Any interested person is
welcome to sing in the community choir that will rehearse at 5:30 p.m. on
Sunday, Nov. 18. Ruth Strackbein of Grace Lutheran will direct the choir.
