Nebraska State Patrol Seizes 2,300 Pounds of Pot

An Arizona man is in jail after troopers found over 2,300 pounds of pot in the back of the rental truck he was driving.

Around 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, a trooper stopped James Valimont's 2012 rental truck for failure to signal near the Bradshaw Interchange on I-80.

After being given consent to search the truck, the trooper found 101 bundles of pot weighing a total of 2,395.5 pounds.

Valimont, 56, Glendale, Ariz., was lodged at the York County Jail on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
