A fierce blaze burned through parts of Custer County Wednesday.
An Airplane from Broken Bow and fire crews from Callaway, Arnold, Anselmo, Broken Bow and Merna battled the flame.
According to Shawn Owens, Custer County Emergency Manager, the fire burned about 300 acres.
The cause is still unknown.
Owens has confirmed that the fire is contained, however one crew was still on scene as of Wednesday evening.
No injuries were reported. And no damage was done to any buildings during the fire.
