It was all about the door busters Friday morning as the bargain hunting began soon after the turkey dinner was finished.
NTV got a behind the scenes look at the prep work at Best Buy in Grand Island's Conestoga Mall.
As employees counted down to what is traditionally known as the biggest shopping day of the holiday season, shoppers had already started to line up.
Dearrek McNelis was among those first in line rushing through the doors of Best Buy.
Best Buy General Manager Franc Harwart said some of their most popular sales were television sets, tablets, and SLR digital cameras.
McNelis said television sets were the first thing on his list, "there was an amazing deal on it, it was $179 and it's usually $400-something so why not," said McNelis.
Some shoppers were a little too late for the doorbuster deals. "I came here for two to three different TV's but they're all gone," said shopper Randy Or, but he added "I got an iPod touch for a gift."
