A Grand Island man has been arrested after a car accident killed one of the passengers in his car.

Donald Webben, 29, has been arrested on suspicion of felony motor vehicle homicide as well as suspicion of driving under the influence at the time of the crash.

The Thursday morning crash took place near St. Libory and killed 22-year-old Anthony "A.J." Sabin Jr., of Lincoln.

The Howard County Sheriff's Department says Webben lost control of his car. The care then rolled, and Sabin, who was riding in the back seat, was not wearing a seat belt.

Another passenger, a 21-year-old woman also riding in the back seat, was treated for injuries and released.
