Hamilton County Crash Kills One - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

Police responded to a fatal collision at a rural intersection in Hamilton County Tuesday morning.

Stephanie Wrick, 28, of Aurora, was driving her car south on a rural road about 4¹/₂ miles north of Aurora when she stuck a westbound pickup driven by Darrin Grosshans.

Hamilton County Attorney Michael Powell says Wrick was pronounced dead at the scene.

Grosshans, also of Aurora, and Wrick's 7-year-old daughter were taken to the hospital and treated and released.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
