Overton Woman Turns Self in for Hit and Run

An Overton woman accused of leaving the scene of an accident has been arrested after she turned herself in to police Tuesday.

Otilia Hubbard, 29, turned herself in to Buffalo County officials on the felony charge of leaving a serious injury accident.

Hubbard allegedly ran into Daryl Ruesch's motorcycle east of Gibbon on Nov. 21. Hubbard is accused of leaving the crash scene.

Hubbard was taken to the Buffalo County Jail where she later posted bond. Her court date has been set for Dec. 18.

Ruesch, 58, of Hastings, was injured in the crash and remains in critical condition in the intensive–care unit of Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
