Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

Recipe is as follows:

• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 lb ground sausage
• 1 lb ground turkey breast
• 1/2 c. Seasoned bread crumbs
• 2 eggs
• Cubed mozzarella

Mix everything except the mozzarella together until well mixed.

Use a standard cookie dropper to scoop the meat up.  Take a ball and flatten it and place the cheese cube in the middle and roll meat around it.  Place on a cooling rack on a cookie sheet and bake on Broil for about 10-15 minutes.  I would check starting at 5 minutes, depending on your oven and rack placement.  You can add them to your sauce of choice and simmer or serve as is.
