Nebraska Man Sentenced on Charges of Child Porn - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

A western Nebraska man has been sentenced for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in 2011.

Robert Logan, 51, was sentenced Thursday to 12 years in prison by Scotts Bluff County District Judge Leo Dobrovolny.

The sentencing follows a plea deal in July in which Logan pleaded no contest to reduced charges of two counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child.

Prosecutors say Logan sexually assaulted the girl several times during the fall of 2011 on a couch in his home. Logan was arrested in February.

After his release, Logan will have to register as a sex offender.
