Newspaper Carrier Finds Body on Road North of Lincoln - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

A body was found north of Lincoln in the middle of a rural road early Sunday morning by a newspaper carrier was making his rounds.

The fatally shot man has been identified as 25-year-old Tyler Schoenrock, of Lincoln.

Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says Schoenrock suffered several gunshot wounds and that shell casings were found at the scene.

His body was found around 4:45 a.m. Sunday and an autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.

No arrests have yet been reported.
