Appmosphere is pleased to announce the launch of its line of point-of-sale and retail-oriented mobile software. Storm™ is set to revolutionize the retail and service industries by supplying them with a variety of mobile tools, and will streamline everyday functions by integrating several aspects of the business.
Storm™ includes three package levels, each focusing around a different application, and each meant for a different size of business. For the small boutique retail establishment, as well as cafes and restaurants, there is the RainStorm package. RainStorm includes the Storm™ POS system, featuring a sleek and intuitive design, developed for tablet computers. Sure to impress customers at checkout, the tablet can be paired with great peripheral hardware solutions such as receipt printers and cash drawers, or may be integrated with existing hardware.
ThunderStorm takes the POS software to the next level by integrating it with a manager's app. This app works as an analytics tool, with the ability to view inventory, employee, and sales analytics. It also couples with the POS app so that when there is a problem at a register, a manager can be hailed quickly and discreetly. The manager’s app can also assign tasks to employees with other apps.
The largest package is the LightningStorm package. This takes both the POS and manager's apps from the previous packages, and adds a stock/inventory app, meant for employees with smart devices. This app can scan and update inventory, accept tasks given by the managers and cashiers, and even provides product information including product quantities and store locations. When a customer app was added to the LightningStorm package for a grocery chain, Appmosphere provided a feature allowing customers to preorder products. This data is then sent to the stock app so that the items can be compiled by the stock employee before the customer arrives to the store.
The additional services and products offered by Appmosphere under the Storm trademark are extensive. They partner with database designers to ensure the customer’s database is optimized to the software. They can develop apps for a store’s customers or delivery drivers, install wireless networks in an establishment, offer device deployment and management services, and even provide several types of marketing specific to a company’s size, brand, and environment.
