Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Trash Collection Schedule for Kea - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

Due to Martin Luther King Jr. day on Monday, Jan. 21, residential trash collection will be pushed back one day. Those whose collections fall on Friday will remain the same.

Commercial businesses will be collected as scheduled, as will residential and commercial curbside recyclable pickups.

The Kearney Area Recycling Center will be closed that day and the Kearney Area Solid Waste Agency Landfill and Compost and Tree Site will be open from 8 a.m. until noon.

The City of Kearney offices, Kearney Public Library, and Peterson Senior Activity Center will be also be closed Monday. City Offices, the Library, and PSAC will reopen on Tuesday.
