Rowe Sanctuary Offering Fun Hike for Groundhog Day - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

Rowe Sanctuary is giving families the chance to search the sanctuary for a groundhog in celebration of Groundhog Day.

The hike will take place Saturday, Feb. 2 from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. The entire event is outside so participants are encouraged to dress warmly and in layers.

Hot chocolate will be served after the hike.

The center is also hosting a family crane carnival Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The carnival gives families the chance to learn about cranes and their habitat in a hands-on setting.
