Registration
is open for "Wild About UNK," the annual cheer and dance kids camp, which will
take place Friday, Feb. 1, at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
The camp, which is hosted by the UNK Sapphires Dance Team and UNK Cheerleading
Squad, will include a cheer and dance clinic from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the
Nebraskan Student Union. Participants will then perform at 5:30 p.m. during
half-time of the UNK women's basketball game.
"The camp is for ages four through fifth grade students," said Heather Wolf, Spirit Squad adviser and UNK assistant director
for student activities. "The cost of the clinic is $25, and includes a goody
bag and two additional parent tickets for the
evening basketball games."

now through the event.
Members of the UNK Sapphires Dance Team and UNK Cheer Squad host the camp
annually.
