On
February 8, Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity will hold its annual
Build a Dream Dinner and Auction. Proceeds from the event will help pay
for construction costs on the area's 71st Habitat home.
Once
again, Jerry's Sheet Metal has donated an energy efficient heating and
air system toward the auction. The unit is valued at $8,000.
Items on
the auction range in value, starting at $25, and include jewelry, home
decor, hunting trips, family entertainment packages, massages, a golf
membership, and catering vouchers. The auction also includes a hot air
balloon flight donated by Shane Arends and a case of ribeyes donated by JBS.
The event will be held at the Bosselman Conference Center
and cost is $40/seat or $200/table of six. To register
call 308-385-5510 by February 4.
