The Kearney Area Children's Museum is holding a couple of all day camps coming up in February.
Thursday, Feb.14 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. the museum will be hosting "Cupid Camp" in celebration of Valentine's Day.
Kids will be able to explore the history of the day that is celebrated by the giving of
gifts, acts of kindness, candy, and cards to loved ones as well as participate in
Valentine's activities, games, and eat delicious treats.
The camp is for children ages 5-7. Cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members. Children will need to bring a sack lunch.
The next day on Friday,
Feb. 15 from
8 a.m. - 3 p.m. the museum will be hosting "Chocolate Factory Camp."
The day will be filled with fun games, activities, and recipes. And kids will get the chance to learn about the history of chocolate, the different kinds of chocolate and of
course there will be taste testing.
This camp is for children ages 5-7. Cost is $15 for members and $25 for non members. Children will need to bring a sack lunch.
