Daniel Sindt
A Kearney man charged with making explosives out of his
home will be heading to trial after sending in a written not guilty plea last month.
Daniel Sindt, 43, is charged with felony possession of a destructive
device and unlawful possession of explosives.
Officers were called to Sindt's home on reports of medication theft in
November.
Police reports say that while officers were searching the home they found a small explosive and other elements
needed to make more bombs like it.
Sindt's estranged wife says her twin six–year–old boys were
also involved in making the explosives.
Sindt's trial is tentatively scheduled for March.
