Western Neb. Man Sentenced in Sexual Assault Case

A western Nebraska man will be behind bars for 30 to 48 months for sexually assaulting a child.

Keith Van Winkle, of Minatare, made a deal with prosecutors and pleaded no contest to reduced charges in Scottsbluff County.

He was arrested after a 7-year-old girl told school officials she was molested three years earlier.

Van Winkle was given credit for 254 days already served.
