Elderly Woman Injured in Morning Accident Expected to Survive

Authorities in Lincoln say that the 80-year-old woman who was hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning is expected to survive.

The woman suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the incident and was taken to a local hospital.

Police re-routed traffic for an hour near the East Lincoln intersection where the accident happened.
