The Upper Big Blue NRD is joining with the University of Nebraska Extension office and UNL Department of Biological Systems Engineering to present a No-Till and Crop Management seminar on Feb. 27 at the Seward County Fairgrounds in Seward.
Speakers will share experiences with no-till farming including: no-till equipment, residue management, nitrogen management ideas and how to control insects.
The seminar will begin with registration and refreshments from 9-9:30 a.m., with the no-till seminar officially beginning at 9:30 a.m. and wrapping-up at 3:30 p.m. A free meal will be provided over the noon hour. There is no charge for any part of the seminar.
CCA credits are available for the seminar.
