Kearney—The Kearney Area Young Professional Network (YPN) has several new board members.
New members include Chandra Daffer, Josh Hanshaw, Joanell Mueller, and Brandon Snodgrass. Continuing board members include Tim Hanley, Jeremy Lytle, Corey McIntosh, Ashley Mowitz, Penny Parker, Josh Pierce, and Kelli Vohland.
Chandra Daffer serves as community and chamber relations chair for YPN and is the assistant director of First Year Programs at UNK. Additionally, Daffer is a KCBS BBQ Contest committee member.
Josh Hanshaw serves as marketing chair and is the cancer center communications manager at Good Samaritan Hospital. Hanshaw also serves on the Residential Assistance for Families in Transition (RAFT) board of directors and as communications chair for the American Heart Association HeartChase.
Joanell Mueller serves as personal and professional development chair and is an architect at Wilkins Hinrichs Stober Architects. Mueller is also a certified yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance.
Brandon Snodgrass serves as member at large and is an accountant at Hellman, Main, Coslor & Kathol. Snodgrass is also involved as a member of First Lutheran Church.
Tim Hanley serves as member at large and is a QA analyst at Xpanxion. Hanley also serves as video director on his church's tech team.
Jeremy Lytle serves as social chair and is a master scheduler at Eaton Corporation. Lytle is a member of Dobytown Kiwanis and volunteers for the United Way.
Corey McIntosh serves YPN as past president and is an engineer at Nebraska Public Power District. McIntosh volunteers for Leadership Kearney, UNK parades and Connecting the Dots.
Ashley Mowitz, vice president of YPN, is the communications manager for the United Way of the Kearney Area. In addition to YPN, Mowitz is a member of Dobytown Kiwanis.
Penny Parker currently holds the president position of YPN. Parker is the marketing coordinator at the Kearney Hub, serves on the RAFT board of directors and is a member of current Leadership Kearney class.
Josh Pierce serves as member at large and is the scholarship coordinator at UNK. Pierce also serves on the Children's Commission at Kearney's E-Free Church.
Kelli Vohland serves as YPN treasurer and is a staff accountant at Hellman, Main, Coslor & Kathol. Vohland is a member of First United Methodist Church and coaches T-ball and soccer.
