At around 10:30 p.m. Monday night officers responded to Kings Court Trailer Park in response to a report of an armed robbery.
Witnesses told the officers that 21-year-old Jeffery Denson and 19-year-old Sylvester LeBlanc III had just fled the scene in a dark blue, Chrysler 300 with dealer plates. The victim of the alleged robbery was a 20-year-old female. She told police that she had initially let Denson and LeBlanc into the trailer.
According to police, after asking permission to use the restroom LeBlanc brandished a handgun and then the two men demanded money from her. The suspects then stole a small amount of cash and a cell phone.
Officers found Denson and another male passenger later in the Chrysler 300 near the 1200 block of E. 4th Street. Officers placed Denson under arrest for robbery, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and terroristic threats.
Denson was jailed at the Lincoln County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
Police are still searching for LeBlanc. He is approximately six feet tall and weighs about 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He has similar gang tattoos on the inside of both forearms displaying GD on his right arm and 74 on the left.
The firearm used during the robbery has not been recovered and LeBlanc is thought to be armed and dangerous.
