Fire crews were called to the Central Nebraska Regional Airport in Grand Island after a single-engine airplane ran into an airport terminal.
Emergency crews arrived on scene around 3 p.m. Wednesday where fuel was leaking from the aircraft.
Airport
Executive Director Mike Olson says the pilot had started the engine and
was preparing to taxi onto a runway when he lost power to the brakes
and nose wheel control.
A window broke on the plane and the nose was dented, but no injuries were reported.
Records
say the plane had landed in Grand Island on its way from Chicago to the
Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport near Broomfield, Colo.
