Two cultures come together as area dance students get the opportunity of a lifetime.
Timing and precision; that's what Irish dancing is all about.
Professional Irish choreographer Adrian Murphy is teaching Kearney School of Dance students the art of the dance in just a few short hours.
Murphy made friends with a Kearney family while on vacation and agreed to share his knowledge with the students, while helping them learn a different culture along the way.
"Two cultures, we've got Irish and American, but as you know in America they've got, everybody's got a lot of Irish roots here and ancestry," said choreographer Adrian Murphy. "So it's gonna be fun. We're gonna be the Nebraska answer to Riverdance, that's what we're gonna be."
All this practice will pay off in the end for the school's 35th annual recital from June 3-6 in Kearney.
