Kearney's Sylvan Learning Center has recently received SylvanSync, state of the art technology that delivers
instruction via the iPad, and is paired with Sylvan Certified Teachers.
The program directly aligns with state standards to accelerate
reading and math skills for children of all ages.
Students will start with an assessment to gauge where
they are.
- This helps us build a personalized plan,
tailored to each student's unique learning style in order to help them grow and reach
their goals.
Students are able to receive real-time feedback on how
they are accelerating through their skills. Teachers will also be able to connect with their
students using this program.
Parents will be able to keep track of their child's
progress through a web portal called MySylvan.
- Online
learning progress reports will allow parents to see what their child worked on
and learned immediately after a session has been completed.
- Practice
worksheets and premium content from Britannica are also included to extend learning beyond the
center.
- Extra
resources are provided for parents and fun ideas to make learning a family activity.
