LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska's capital city has put out a call for more "snow angels" as a powerful storm approaches the state.
The
city of Lincoln's Snow Angels program was started in December by the
United Methodist Church. The program puts volunteers in touch with
people unable to remove snow from their sidewalks and driveways. City
ordinances require people to clear their sidewalks.
The big storm
is promising to dump up to 8 inches overnight and Thursday in Lincoln,
so the city Public Works and Utilities Department issued the call for
more angels. Volunteers can sign up on the city's website,
