Snow can't stop the Cattleman's Classic these next few days.
Despite the snow events will run Friday and Saturday, amended slightly and following the schedules listed below. Sunday's events will run as previously scheduled.
The Cattleman's Classic will be at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds through Sunday.
Friday:
- 9:00 am: All Maine Anjou and Chimaines/ Chiangus in barn
- 10:00 am: Limousin Show
- 10:15 am: Shorthorn Show & Shorthorn Plus Show
- 11:30 am: Balancer/Gelbvieh Show
- 12:00 p.m.: Angus Sale
- 1:30 p.m.: Limousin Sale
Followed immediately by:
- Balancer/Gelbvieh Sale, Shorthorn Sale, Shorthorn Plus Sale, Simmental Sale, Charolais Sale
- 5:00 p.m.: Cattlemen's Social at Dupont
- 5:00 p.m.: Classic Burger Bash
- 6:00 p.m.: Cattlemen's Antique Sale
- 6:30 p.m.: Replacement Heifer Pen of 5 Sale
Saturday:
FFA Day moved from Thursday to Saturday
- 7:30 am: Classic Judging Registration
- 8:00 am -3:00 p.m.: Junior Show Check-In
- 10:00 am: Maine Anjou/MaineTainer Show
- 11:00 am: Chimaine/Chiangus Show
- 1:00 p.m.: Maine Anjou/MaineTainer Sale
- 2:00 p.m.: Chimaine/Chiangus Sale
Followed immediately by:
- Royal Ice Sale & Pen of 3 Heifer Sale, Fancy Pen of 3 Judging, Prospect Steer Sale - NEW
- 3:00 p.m.: Judging Contest Awards
- 4:00 p.m.: Junior Showmanship-Blow-n-Go
Showmanship will stop at 6:30 p.m. if needed and Supreme Row Judging will resume.
- 5:00 p.m. Social for cattlemen of all ages at Principal Financial Display
- 6:00 p.m.: Royal Dinner - all cattlemen welcome
- 7:00 p.m.: Supreme Row Judging
