Danger Building Successful Football Organization

Posted: Updated:

Ticket sales run strong as the Nebraska Danger kick off season number three, with good support from the community.

The Danger claim to have the best fans in the IFL.

With the top attendance in the Indoor Football League, all indications are the momentum should carry into this season.

General Manager Mike McCoy said, "Just based on season tickets out and group tickets out, we should have even more people this year than we have had in the past years."
But the league the Danger plays in has seen its ranks thin out.

The IFL has just a fraction of the teams it once did.

But Danger officials say the teams and owners that remain are the strongest.
"They know how to sell tickets, they know how to make things happen and when we played in some other buildings last year, we would go in, there'd be 500 people and things wouldn't be ready to go but the guys that are left are experienced operators, very solid people too and already there have been teams calling to get into the league next year as well," McCoy said.

Owner Charlie Bosselman said he has been working to integrate the Danger into the Bosselman Companies. For example, the Bones football mascot is now the mascot for the family's Pump and Pantry stores. And Danger tickets and apparel are available at the convenience stores.

The Danger kick off their season Saturday night at the Heartland Events Center.
