In January, 23-year-old Justin Valentine was jailed after a peaceful surrender ended a 90-minute standoff with North Platte Police.
Monday, Valentine entered his pleas. He is charged with two counts of making terroristic threats, one count of attempted second-degree assault and two weapons counts.
Valentine plead not guilty to all five counts.
Officers had been sent to a house to investigate the report of a shooting. Two people at the scene accused Valentine of threatening them and firing a rifle at them but neither person was hit.
Initially the 23-year-old refused to let officers in or to leave the house but later gave up without any further incidents.
