A two-vehicle accident in northern Kansas has killed a Stamford man and sent a Kansas woman to the hospital.
Shortly after 8:30 Wednesday morning, 20–year–old Austin Shaw was driving his 1990 Oldsmobile when it collided with Jessica Eshbaugh's 2001 Chevy Silverado about four miles west of Long Island Kansas.
Shaw's Oldsmobile rolled into the ditch as the Silverado came to a stop on the road.
According to the crash report, both vehicles were driving left of the center line and they collided head-on.
Eshbaugh was air–lifted to Good Samaritan in Kearney.
Shaw was not wearing a seat–belt.
