Russ Jones Announces Run for Nebraska Legislature - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

A North Platte attorney has announced his plan to run for state senator of the 42nd District in the 2014 race.

Russ Jones says he plans to run a campaign that focuses on the "new" future. He said, "I will offer a different type of leadership. Raw. Real."

Jones has lived in North Platte since 1994. He owns and operates his own practice, Jones Law Office, LLC, where he primarily practices criminal and juvenile law.

Jones is currently president of the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association. He also served on the Lincoln County Convention and Visitors Board for eight years.
