Nora Christensen - February 2013

Dear NTV,

I think Mrs. Christensen should be teacher of the month because she is really nice, but strict enough so everyone has to do their work.  She lets us do a lot of fun things like watch movies, and on days we don't have P.E. we get to dance wedding songs for 10 or more minutes.

In science, we do a lot of fun things!  We got to set up a Rube Goldberg and we had to set it off with a mouse trap and blow out a candle, but it had to have three simple machines.  It was a lot of fun, but still educational.  Also we got to mess with circuits and light up light bulbs with a big battery and we got to do a lot of other fun experiments.

For Valentines' Day we got a tumble weed and the class went out to the parking lot and spray painted it pink and hung it from the ceiling.

Mrs. Christensen isn't afraid to be silly with the rest of 6th grade, which makes class 10x better.  Plus, she makes sure everybody knows what they're doing and makes sure we do a good job.  As a reading assignment we had to read the Hobbit and it was really good.  When the movie came out 5th through 8th grade got to go see the movie at the local theater.  That is why I think Mrs. C should be the teacher of the Month.

Sincerely, Carter Davis
