Authorities Searching for the Vehicle Involved in Fatal Hit and - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

Authorities are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit–and–run that killed a 69–year–old woman in southeast Nebraska.

Barbara Bolen was struck by an unknown vehicle while she was checking her mail Wednesday.

The Nemaha County Sheriff's Office is looking for a silver or light gray vehicle that could be a semi–tractor.

She was found near Highway 136 close-by her home located two miles east of Auburn.

Police say the vehicle may have damage on its right–front area around the fender and headlight.
