Gas prices across Nebraska have seen a slight dip, with national prices remaining relatively stable.
The average price of gas in Nebraska has fallen about 5 cents per gallon in the last week. A gallon of gas is currently averaging $3.70, according to GasBuddy's daily survey.
To compare, the national average fell almost 3 cents per gallon to an average $3.70 per gallon as well.
With this dip, gas prices across Nebraska have gone back below what they were a year ago, but remain well above what they were one month ago.
Average gas prices were 2.7 cents per gallon lower than the same day last year, but 23 cents per gallon higher than one month ago.
Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan says he believes the nation's gas prices will continue to decline. He said, "And
perhaps the best news is that the national average will likely continue to
decline in most areas east of the Rockies in the week ahead as wholesale
gasoline prices have given up ground."
