Michelle Kim, a highly experienced healthcare underwriter, has joined Beazley and will be located in the Glendale, CA office, further enhancing the service provided by the company's miscellaneous medical team. With underwriters in London, Chicago, and now Glendale, Beazley's substantial and growing healthcare practice currently serves a quarter of Healthgrades' top hospitals in the US*, as well as numerous clinical research organizations, tissue and blood banks, clinical laboratories, medical staffing agencies and other healthcare-related organizations.

Previously, Ms. Kim worked for six years as the allied healthcare (as miscellaneous medical risks are also sometimes known) product head at Hiscox. In addition to this experience, Ms. Kim had also served as an underwriter and senior underwriter of various product lines at Markel Corporation.
