Some central Nebraska students will get the chance to interview retired NASA astronaut Clayton Anderson at Hastings College.
Anderson, a 1981 Hastings College graduate, is giving students and teachers at the Nebraska Junior Academy of Science Central Nebraska regional science fair the chance to ask him questions via Skype.
The Skype session is being set up in the college's French Memorial Chapel, 800 N. Turner Ave., Thursday at noon.
Students from Eustis-Farnam,
Wood River, Wilcox-Hildreth, Central City, Newman Grove, Ravenna, Elwood and St.
Cecilia schools will display their science projects from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Morrison-Reeves Science Center, 717 N. Ash Ave.
The event
is free and the public is invited to explore the students' experiments.
