The Franklin County 4-H and Franklin FFA are sponsoring a
benefit for Holden Bruce, a freshman at Franklin Public Schools.
Holden
has been diagnosed with two new brain tumors. His doctors in Omaha will not
operate, but a hospital in Boston
believes that they can help him.
To help get Holden to Boston, a benefit has been scheduled for Sunday, March 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
at the Franklin School.
The benefit will include a baked potato bar and silent
auction. The Franklin
Flyer Band will provide entertainment from 12:30 to 1 p.m. and Cindy Boehler
will be providing entertainment from 1-2 p.m. There will also be a cake raffle.
Cash donations can be sent to the Holden Bruce Benefit in
care of Franklin State Bank, P.O. Box 125 Franklin, NE 68939.
