North Platte Man Pleads Not Guilty to Child Sexual Assault Charg - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

A North Platte man arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a child has pleaded not guilty to those charges in Lincoln County District Court.

41-year-old Edward Maline was arrested in December after a 19-year-old woman reported to authorities that  Maline began touching her inappropriately and performing acts that were sexual in nature when she was about 8 or 9 years old.

The victim says the alleged sexual actions continued over the next decade.
