Grand Island Crisis Center Names New Executive Director - KHGI-TV/KWNB-TV/KHGI-CD-Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings

Grand Island's Crisis Center will have a new executive director come April 1.

The center's Board of Directors has announced that Lex Ann Roach will be taking over the position and Interim Executive Director Alexis Larson will resume her position as assistant executive director.

Roach began working for the Crisis Center as a public relations/marketing coordinator in July of 2012. Before joining the Crisis Center, she worked with two other local non-profits; Project Extra Mile and Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska. 

Roach graduated from Doane College in May 2012 with a Masters in the Art of Management.

The Crisis Center serves victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Hamilton, Howard, Merrick and Hall counties.
