Hussein Hussein
Feysal Sharif–Yusuf
Two men accused of robbing three dancers employed at the Edge Bar just outside of Grand Island pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday.
Hussein Hussein and Feysal Sharif–Yusuf are each charged with three counts robbery and use of a firearm to commit a felony.
Officials say the victims reported four men entered their room at the Conoco Motel in Grand Island and took about $17,000 from their stash of cash. So far there has only been enough evidence collected to charge Hussein and Sharif-Yusuf.
According to police, the victims had some trouble with a photo lineup, but told police they knew the men as "Rico" and "Magic" from the club. They reported hearing Hussein called by the name Rico during the robbery. And they apparently identified Sharif-Yusef, known as Magic when his bandana fell, showing his face.
The pre–trial hearing for Sharif–Yusuf has been set for May 8, and a jury trial date is scheduled for June 17.
Hussein's pre–trial hearing has been set for April 18, and a jury trial date has not yet been decided upon.
