SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) — Three tornado sirens in the Nebraska Panhandle have failed their tests.
A siren in Harrisburg, one in Morrill and one Terrytown didn't go off during Wednesday's checks.
Bretthauer, of the Region 22 Emergency Management
Agency, says signal issues could have caused the problems. He says
workers are checking for the exact reasons so repairs can be made or
signal issues resolved.
Bretthauer says the Harrisburg siren is
tested every month and usually passes. He says that until Wednesday no
problems had been reported with the Morrill and Terrytown sirens.
