Kearney Community Learning Center middle school (KCLC) would like to announce that we are now accepting enrollments for their 2013 summer program.
This summer KCLC will be offering four two-week long camps designed to be innovative and enhance students' knowledge in science, technology, engineering, math, and the arts.
During the first camp, students will become mad scientists while preparing for a science fair of their very own! The second two-week camp will be spent digging up the past and creating new memories at Fort Kearney. In the third week, youth will look deeper into the engineering of the Platte River, as well as, creating the water park of their dreams! Lastly, youth will be entertained while learning about the culture of Africa through drumming and dance provided by Charles Ahovissi.
This program is open to all Kearney students entering in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade.
