This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Nebraska lottery and Grand Island helps celebrate with the launching of a new limited edition scratch game.
The $10 Platinum Jubilee 20X has been developed for the Nebraska Lottery's 20th Anniversary.
The first public unveiling of the game took place Friday at Skagway Five Points in Grand Island.
Skagway has been the statewide leader in overall sales of Nebraska lottery tickets since 1993.
The president of Skagway said the company has always had a great relationship with the Nebraska Lottery.
Since its debut, over $478 million has been raised for the Nebraska lottery's beneficiary funds.
Their mission is to generate proceeds for good causes, while providing quality entertainment options to Nebraskans.
The platinum jubilee scratch game is actually a throwback to the beginning of the lotto. It features five scenes that were printed on the first Nebraska lottery scratch ticket in 1993.
Three winners already cashed in Friday morning, but the lucky one who ends up winning the top prize, which is $100,000, must go to the Nebraska Lottery Headquarters in Lincoln to claim that gold.
