7-Year-Old Battling Brain Cancer Scores 69-Yard TD at Neb. Spring Game

Posted: Updated:

Cancer survivor Jack Hoffman, 7, may go down as the biggest star of Saturday's Nebraska Spring Game.

On a fourth-and-one play, Hoffman took a hand-off from Husker quarterback Taylor Martinez, followed a wall of blockers down the field, and scored a 69-yard touchdown.

Little Jack is known for his courageous bout with brain cancer. He was diagnosed in April 2011 and has had two surgeries.

Jack is now on a two-week break from a 60-week chemotherapy regimen.
