UNL Student Falls 3 Stories Off Frat House Fire Escape

According to authorities, a 21-year-old University of Nebraska-Lincoln student has been injured in a three-story fall.

Emergency workers were dispatched to the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house around 12:30 Friday morning. The workers found the man lying on concrete under the fire escape.

Witnesses said that they had been drinking and moved to the fire escape to smoke. They said the 21-year-old then sat on the railing and fell.

He has been taken to the hospital and is in critical but stable conditions.
