A fun competition in Grand Island takes on the simple question of 'how do you spell that again'?
Ten teams faced off in the 15th annual Corporate Spelling Bee on Saturday.
This challenge is all in fun, raising money for the literacy council of Grand Island, which provides free tutoring for individuals.
"I think one of the greatest things going on today is the community's coming together to support a great organization," said Grand Island literacy council's Wanda Hutchinson. "That's providing a service to the people in our community, that will better our community as a whole, and this community is not only doing it to have fun, but to also bring some vital funding to our organization."
NTV's very own Kent Boughton emceed and judged Saturday's spelling bee challenge, which is one of several fundraisers for the Literacy Council.
