Protect Your Information and Shred At 4th Annual Shred Day in GI

Posted: Updated:

Grand Island - Tax season has come to a close and that means many may have leftover documents containing sensitive information. Bank statements, credit card statements, voided checks and tax returns all examples of documents that contain information you don’t want anyone else to get their hands on.

It’s important that these documents are properly disposed of in order to protect yourself from identity theft.

Shredding is a quick and safe way to get rid of sensitive documents and if you don’t have access to one at home or work the 4th Annual Community Shred Day in Grand Island might be a good solution for you.

Bring no more than three boxes or bags of paper to the Skagway parking lot at 1607 S. Locust Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. For a minimum $5 donation your documents will be safely disposed of. All of the donations go to the Central Nebraska Child Advocacy Center and Crime Stoppers.
