A 23-year-old North Platte man has made a deal with prosecutors in exchange for a no contest plea on two felony counts of terroritstic threats.
Justin Valentine made the pleas Monday in Lincoln County District Court after prosecutors dropped two other charges.
Officers were sent to a house in January on reports of a shooting. Two people at the scene accused Valentine of threatening them and firing a rifle in their direction. Neither person was hit.
Initially Valentine refused to leave the house or to let officers in, but after about 90 minutes he surrendered without any further incidents.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 20.
